I promised cheesy romantic slush today, and here it is, in the form of the song Everything I do (I do it for you) from the film Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Why this song today? Well, this was the film Catriona and I went to see on our first date… eighteen and a half years ago!
The song spent no fewer than 16 weeks at No.1 in the UK charts, and I think by that time everyone was pretty sick of it, but it’s always been a special song for us…

I quite like what you’ve done with this song, thanks for sharing.
To go along with the cheesy note, may I just say that I admire how many things you have talent and energy for. I found you via CBF, which I listen to daily to supplement my French education, but I see now how many different things you’re successfully involved in. To say something negative, you’re the kind of person who makes the rest of us mortals wonder what we’ve been wasting our lives doing!
Back to the music, though – I don’t suppose you’d have any Enya or State of Grace-style Lisbeth Scott in your arsenal?
