365 Songs: My love, my life – Abba
This is one of those album songs which never quite got the publicity it deserved, at least at the time of its release. Taken from the 1976 album Arrival, it is thought to be the best example of Agnetha’s voice, according to Björn at least! Agnetha released a compilation of her Swedish and English hits in 1996 and appropriately named it My love, my life. More recently, at last year’s BBC ABBA concert in Hyde Park, Jamie Cullum performed this song in quite a different style. Hope you like my version! Please feel free to comment if you enjoyed it – or indeed if you didn’t!

Enjoying the daily concerts! Don’t know this one. My knowledge of the Abba songbook is not as comprehensive as yours!
Well done Mark!! I’ve not heard this one before but really enjoyed it
Thank you
Glad to find out that I wasn’t the only one who thought this song has never had the recognition it deserved! Mark – I am really enjoying your daily performances. It’s really relaxing listening to you play when I am doing the daily work commute. It’s also giving me a bit of motivation to get back to playing more often myself.
Look forward to hearing more of your performances, especially the Abba tracks. Here’s another Abba suggestion for you – how about “Slipping Through My Fingers” from The Visitors album? I have tried that one myself – it’s a good one to play. All the Best and look forward to hearing more…
