285/365 Songs: Amapola

Amapola – meaning “poppy” in Spanish – dates from 1924 and was written by Spanish composer Joseph LaCalle. It was recorded by the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra in 1941, and later by the Three Tenors in 1990 and Andrea Bocelli in 2006.
