350/365 Songs: The Prayer – Céline Dion and Andrea Bocelli
Today’s song was originally recorded in 1999 by Céline Dion and Andrea Bocelli and featured on both Dion’s Christmas album These are special times and Bocelli’s album Sogno. I like the combination of English and Italian lyrics in this song. I included the song on my compilation in aid of the Haiti Earthquake earlier this year which raised over £500 for the appeal – many thanks again to everyone who bought the collection! I hope you enjoy today’s song. I can’t quite believe this is the 350th song in my project – not long to go!
